Mahoning Township Police say they arrested a woman from Allentown after a traffic stop Friday morning.

According to a press release, police took 44-year-old Mayolly Dejesus of Allentown into custody on a warrant from Lehigh County.Around 9:45 a.m., police stopped a vehicle belonging to Dejesus for speeding.The driver, 33-year-old Oscar Ortiz of Allentown, was found to be driving without a license. He was cited for speeding and driving under suspension.Police charged Dejesus, who was a passenger in the vehicle, with permitting violation of title.They also found that she was wanted on a warrant out of Lehigh County, arrested her and committed her to Carbon County Correctional Facility.No further details were available.
