Motorists can see spray paint on the rocks along the Mansion House Hill.
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesman Ronald Young said the PennDOT Geotechnical Unit visited the location on March 11.The unit visibly identified rock outcroppings that potentially need attention in the future, and marked them with the spray paint. They plan to revisit the site soon to do some photogrammetry of the identified rocks.Officials will then analyze the data they collect to determine a course of action for the rock wall, which could include rock scaling, rock bolting, fencing/netting, or a combination.
