A body of a man was discovered hanging from a tree on a dirt road near Grist Mill Road Saturday morning.

Mahoning Township police along with the Mahoning Valley ambulance and Lehighton paramedics responded to the scene.

The Carbon County coroner and deputies of the Pennsylvania Fish Commission were also on scene.
