Victims in fatal crash identified

State police have identified the victims of the fatal crash that occurred early Thursday morning in the West End of Monroe County.

The crash occurred at 1:45 a.m. on Route 115 near the intersection with Sugar Hollow Road. Police said two vehicles struck head-on along the busy road.Three people were pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash. Two more have been hospitalized.Police identified the deceased Thursday afternoon as 21-year-old Trevor Matthew Roberts of Saylorsburg, 21-year-old Haylee Morgan Rosenberg of Easton, and 26-year-old Nicholas Hicks of Effort.Hicks was the driver and sole passenger in a 2008 GMC Sierra.Roberts was driving a 2006 Jeep Laredo with Rosenberg as a passenger. Two other passengers in the Jeep, 21-year-old Brian Robert Mathious of Effort, and 19-year-old Joshua Jesse Mann of Nazareth, were transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital with what police described as moderate injuries.- Chris Reber
