State police and the coroner are investigating the death of a man after police responded to a hazardous materials incident in eastern Pennsylvania.
Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim says the dead man's name will be released following an autopsy Friday.Troopers from the Bethlehem barracks said they were not releasing details on the incident on Hillcrest Lane is Washington Township, near Slatington, on Thursday afternoon.Grim says only that the man was found dead by a relative, and that unspecified chemicals found close to his body prompted the hazmat response.Police evacuated part of the neighborhood as a result.No other injuries were reported.Staff and wire reports
