A Carbon County woman has been charged with retail theft after she stole from a grocery store.

Township police said that at 11:51 a.m., police were dispatched to a retail theft at Giant.As a result of the investigation, Clair Wo, 42, of Lehighton, has been charged with retail theft, a felony.She was arraigned and released on unsecured bail.A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for March 16.
