Amanda Windbeck of Mahoning Valley recently graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor of science degree in chemical and petroleum engineering.

While attending Pitt, she was involved in several organizations. She is a member of the Society of Women Engineers, American Institute of Chemical Engineers and Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society.She is a 2010 graduate of Lehighton Area High School.Amanda is the daughter of Michael and Denise Windbeck of Mahoning Valley, and the granddaughter of Elaine Windbeck and the late Glenn Windbeck.She has a accepted a position with Valspec in Philadelphia.
