Peggy Heim, Lehigh Carbon Community College Dean of Student Development, has been to receive Phi Theta Kappa's prestigious Distinguished College Administrator Award.
College administrators, nominated by their Phi Theta Kappa chapter, are selected for this international distinction based on outstanding support they provide to PTK.Heim has been at LCCC since 2003 and is responsible for the college's student affairs, advising, athletics, public safety and career development areas, providing leadership for both students and executive leaders at LCCC, while encouraging a college wide support system.She has been involved in encouraging students to complete their degree, and involved faculty and staff to also commit their support to ensure student success.She will be honored at the PTK 98th Annual Convention, held on April 7 through 9, at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, MD.
