A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 9 a.m. today.

Temperatures will rise into the mid 30s between 8 and 10 a.m.

Untreated surfaces will still be slippery due to some icing. Bridges and other elevated surfaces tend to ice up first.

Moderate to heavy rain showers are expected from later today and this evening. Localized flooding in areas of poor drainage is possible. Also, a narrow line of heavy showers or thunderstorms this evening may be accompanied by wind gusts to 50 mph.
