State police at Lehighton are investigating a single-vehicle crash along Route 209 in Towamensing Township that has left one person seriously injured. The crash occurred just before 7:30 a.m. Saturday when emergency responders arrived on scene they discovered an occupant of the vehicle was ejected. The victim was treated at the scene by members of the Palmerton ambulance and Lehighton paramedics, then transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital Trauma Center in Allentown.
