PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner says she will always be "haunted" by never telling her now deceased father about her gender identity.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Jenner talked with former newspaper reporter Buzz Bissinger Wednesday night at the University of Pennsylvania about her struggles with gender dysphoria.Jenner says she didn't know how her mother would react to the truth about her gender identity, but that she has since become Jenner's "best ally."Jenner, in front of a sold-out crowd, also talked about her relationships with her ex-wives and children and says she contemplated suicide when news of her trachea surgery consultation surfaced.She also says she doesn't think of herself as a spokeswoman for the transgender community.---Information from: The Philadelphia Inquirer,
