A crash last year in Mahoning Township has led to the drug arrest of a Northampton County man.

Township police said that at 3:20 p.m. Nov. 6, police investigated a crash on Route 209 that occurred when a southbound vehicle driven by Ronald Getter Jr., 21, of Walnutport, crossed the white line onto the shoulder and rear-ended a parked car.During the investigation, police seized a scale, grinder, marijuana, sandwich bags, rolling papers, $490 and a glass pipe.Getter has been charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, a felony; possession of a small amount of marijuana, a misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 24.
