Fire companies from throughout Schuylkill County are on scene of a massive structure fire in Shenandoah.

The fire was discovered shortly after 4 a.m. in the intersection of the heart of the community. Three large structures have been destroyed.

The American Red Cross supported the efforts of firefighters battling the large overnight blaze in Shenandoah, Schuylkill County.

Red Cross volunteers manned warming stations and provided hot food and beverages to approximately 100 firefighters on the scene in sub-zero temperatures.
