No one was injured when a tire came off a 2003 Dodge Dakota as the driver was southbound on Route 183 in Wayne Township at 2:50 p.m. Feb. 10.

State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks said Edward J. Yulick, 56, of Friedensburg, was driving the vehicle when the left front tire rod broke, causing the tire to come off the vehicle.It got wedged under the left front end of the Dakota. Police said the driver was able to pull the vehicle off onto the west berm.
