Two Lehighton youths competed in the NFL Punt Pass & Kick State Team Championship competition in December at the NovaCare Complex in Philadelphia. Emma Sherer placed third in the 8-9-year-old girls division and Devon Haydt placed first in the boys 12-13-year-old boys division. Sherer is a third grader at East Penn Elementary.
