Lady Bears, Tigers pick up basketball wins

Pleasant Valley and Northwestern Lehigh picked up girls basketball wins in local action on Friday.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Salisbury-Palmerton

The Blue Bombers kept close in the first half, but the Falcons outscored them 30-18 in the final two quarters to pull away for a 61-44 Colonial League win.

Reichenback finished with a team-high 21 points for Salisbury, while Jones added 13.

Spencer Hay's 21 led the Blue Bombers.

The Panthers used a big third quarter to break away from the Bears for a 71-43 Eastern Pennsylvania Conference win.

Isaiah Wiggins scored a game-high 22 points to lead PM West. Lance Singh added 17 and Jalen Vaughn 14 for the Panthers.

Chris Barker had 18 to lead the Bears.
