A Schuylkill County driver was injured in a one-vehicle crash on Wednesday and taken to a Lehigh Valley area hospital. The driver is also facing a possible driving under the influence charge according to the police report.

State police at Frackville said Francis P. Lavan, 26, of Saint Clair, was driving a 2007 Dodge Caliber northbound on the Burma Road, in Mahanoy Township, at 8:24 p.m. when he lost control. The vehicle rolled over once before coming to rest on his wheels along the west berm. Lavan was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest by Shenandoah ambulance. Troopers said the investigation is continuing and a DUI charge pending.
