Troopers said Karen G. Parkinson, 55, of Orwigsburg, and Robert W. Burkey, 54, of New Ringgold, were stopped for a red light on Route 895 west. Scott W. Ebelhar, 47, of Reading, was northbound on Route 61 and getting on the ramp to Route 895. At this point Ebelhar's 2015 Ford F450 truck hit a patch of ice on the ramp and began to slide onto 895. The Sequoia was pushed backwards and struck the front of Burkey's 2006 Toyota Corolla. No one was injured but damages to the Sequoia were termed heavy and it had to be towed.
