Berks man dies after being shot in head during argument

READING, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a suspect has been arrested in the death of a man shot in the head during an argument in eastern Pennsylvania.

Officers in Berks County were called to a Reading neighborhood after 10:30 p.m. Saturday and found the 37-year-old man lying in the street. He was pronounced dead early Sunday at Reading Hospital; his name hasn't been released.

Investigators said he was arguing with another man who pulled a handgun, fired several shots, and fled.

Twenty-two-year-old Michael Maldonado-Caballero of Reading was arrested and charged with first- and third-degree murder and aggravated assault. A listed number for him couldn't be found Sunday and court documents don't list an attorney who could respond to the charges.
