Once again, our Lehighton Band has outdone itself! What a fantastic Christmas concert they gave us Saturday night, Dec. 5! It was glorious! It was also very, very enjoyable.We, the people of Lehighton, are very fortunate indeed, to have this wonderful group of musicians, led by our own Paul Smith, and we cannot ignore their clarinetist/announcer Brad Cressley.This concert, held in “our old alma mater,” far above the Lehigh waters, etc. etc, are exceptional. I wonder how many people really ever appreciated that building! It was built long before all the modern equipment and conveniences we have now, a truly sturdy building and beautiful, too, and hidden within its grand walls, an auditorium unsurpassed in workmanship and quality, with excellent acoustics!
