Class breakfast

Members of the Jim Thorpe Area High School classes of 1967 and 1969 will gather for breakfast at 10 a.m. Monday at the Boulevard Restaurant in Lehighton. Spouses and former classmates are also invited to join the group.Christmas programThe Sunday school children of St. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, will present the "Olde Tyme Christmas" program Sunday. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the church. A special dedication will take place during the program, when an Advent wreath will be placed in the Sunday school in memory of Joyce Reed, a Sunday school teacher for 59 years.Children's partyThe Diligent Fire Company will hold its annual children's Christmas party at the company headquarters from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday.
