State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a burglary and two theft incidents.
A 48-year-old man from Albrightsville, Carbon County, reported his 2006 Volkswagen Passat was entered while parked in the area of 1700 block of Route 534, in Penn Forest Township, and removed was a Samsung Galaxy cellphone and charger. The theft occurred sometime between 5 and 5:05 p.m. on Tuesday.A 46-year-old man from Algonkin Road in Penn Forest Township, reported the address sign posted at the end of his driveway was stolen sometime between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Tuesday. The sign is valued at $25.A break-in occurred on Hazelle Lane, in Jackson Township, Monroe County. A garage door on the property was forced open to gain entry. Nothing appears to have been stolen. The incident occurred sometime between Nov. 19 and Wednesday. The property is owned by Anthony Marinucci, 58, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
