BETHLEHEM (AP) - Officials say a Lehigh University student and two other men are charged with a hate crime for saying an anti-gay slur and pushing another student to the ground.
The incident happened just after 2 a.m. Saturday on the Bethlehem campus.
Police say the victim and another man were approached by three men and an anti-gay slur was uttered before the argument turned into a fight. The victim was pushed to the ground and treated at a hospital.
The three men were charged with ethnic intimidation and harassment. Ethic intimidation is considered a hate crime. The men weren't identified.
