A fundraiser has been established to help a Barnesville family that lost everything in a Sunday night house fire that left them homeless.
Displaced were Alice Schmerfield, her boyfriend Justin Boyer, and their children ages 7, 9 and 13.Most of their belongings were lost in the fire and the home was not insured.Donations will be accepted at any Wells Fargo Bank branch office in care of "Barnesville Hillside Drive Fire Victims Fund."Monetary donations or gift cards can be mailed or dropped off at the Tamaqua Salvation Army, 105 West Broad Street, Tamaqua, PA 18252. Checks must be made out to "Barnesville Hillside Drive Fire Victims Fund."To donate online:
