Fatzinger, 575 Franklin Ave., Palmerton, seeking $5,981.21.Midland Funding, Philadelphia, filed against Sandra Sparich, 1500 Evergreen Ave., Apt. 310, Weatherly, seeking $3,011.35.Tubing accidentJames and Leanna Lane, 1403 Crest Vu Lane, Coplay, filed a civil action against The Tuthill Corporation, aka Blue Mountain Ski Area, 1660 Blue Mountain Road, Palmerton.The suit states the plaintiffs were at the ski area on Feb. 21, 2014, for snow tubing with their family. The suit alleges that James Lane was asked by an employee/agent of the defendant if he wanted to go fast down the hill because it was the last run of the day. The employee/agent, the suit states, instructed the plaintiffs to slide down the mountain on their individual snow tubes connected together and then directed them to interlock their arms and legs to accomplish this. After James Lane connected to the others, the defendant's employee/agent pushed them off very hard down the icy hill. Due to these actions, the suit alleges, James Lane was injured.
