A pedestrian was struck by a car and seriously injured on Friday in Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Ashley M. Lebron, 19, of Albrightsville, was struck about 6 p.m. when as she walked across Route 115, at Jonas Road, in Chestnuthill Township, by a 2001 Mercedes-Benz, driven by John Boeckmann, 81, of Albrightsville, who was northbound.Lebron was flown from the scene by medical helicopter to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest for treatment of serious injuries.She was listed in stable conditions, troopers added. No charges were filed.
