A 14-year-old girl was life-flighted early this evening after sustaining a head injury while riding in a golf cart in Brier Crest Woods, Blakeslee.

According to initial reports, the girl fell off the back of a golf cart that was driven by a friend around 5 p.m. Sunday. She suffered significant injuries to her head.

She was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital. There is no word on her condition.
