PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police say three men participated in a kidnapping at a Philadelphia gas station that unfolded just feet away from several people who watched a woman hopelessly struggled to get away.
Two people called 911.
Philly.com (http://bit.ly/1N6basl ) reports that the crime occurred around 10:30 p.m. Saturday at a Sunoco station in west Philadelphia. Police want to speak to those who saw what happened to the woman, estimated to be in her late teens to mid-20s.
The news site says the woman had bought some items and exited the gas station when she was grabbed and dragged into a tan or gold-colored minivan.
Lt. John Walker says one man pumping gas saw the whole thing and did nothing. He says there were other witnesses, and they need to come forward.
