October 31, 2006 - Lehighton receives goals from three different players to defeat Northern Lehigh, 3-0, in the District 11 Class AA field hockey semifinals. The Indians, coached by Shawn Hindy, open the scoring on a goal by Erin Rupell. Later in the opening half, Brandi Andreas and Kaitlyn Piosa both tally to add to the lead. The winners, who outshoot Nolehi by a 13-7 margin, also receive assists from Alicia Hough and Chelsea Neff.
