HARRISBURG - A new analysis shows the Democrat candidates for Supreme Court have aired far more campaign ads on TV than their Republican competitors.
The candidates spent roughly $5 million on air time through Monday, according to the Center for Public Integrity, which analyzed political advertising data from Kantar Media/CMAG, a media tracking firm.It says outside groups spent about $1.5 million to influence the race.The analysis shows Kevin Dougherty spent the most - nearly $2 million for about 3,700 airings of his spots. In second place, fellow Democrat David Wecht spent more than $1 million for about 2,300 airings.
