State police at Fern Ridge reported on two crashes troopers investigating recently in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.
A two-vehicle crash was reported at 12:31 p.m. on Oct. 12, along Route 209 at the intersection with Rodenbach Lane. Troopers said Kalli M. Walling, 18, of Saylorsburg, driving a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado, was turning left onto 209 from Rodenbach to go south while Lorrie L. Scarlett, 84, of Kunkletown, driving a 2006 Chevrolet Aveo, was northbound on 209. Troopers said Walling's vehicle struck Scarlett's on the passenger side. No one was injured and both vehicles were driven from the scene.Troopers cited Walling for vehicle entering or crossing a roadway.The second crash was reported at 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday along Route 715.Joseph G. Diamond, 39, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 1999 Ford Ranger pickup when it went off the right side of the road and rolled over. Diamond sustained a minor injury and was treated at the scene by West End ambulance personnel. West End Fire Company and fire police volunteers assisted at the scene.Diamond was cited for the crash.
