A one-vehicle crash took place Friday morning before 11:30 a.m. on Hemlock Drive in Lehighton.

The white four-door car was abandoned after coming to a horizontal stop across both lanes of traffic. The vehicle hit several trees and a telephone pole before stopping.Witnesses said they arrived on the scene to find the car still running with the music blaring, fluid leaking onto the blacktop and both airbags deployed.A witness informed the police a woman was seen running from the car into the wooded area with a bag in hand. The driver left a cellphone and driver's license behind.State police arrived on scene to investigate at 11:30 a.m.No other details were available from police at the scene.
