The search for an 84-year-old woman who went missing in Kidder Township over the weekend has concluded unsuccessfully, according to authorities.

Elena Raspopova, 84, was last seen by her family on Saturday, though neighbors reported seeing her walking in the Lake Harmony area as recently as Sunday afternoon.On Tuesday, the final day of the search, crews from the Whitehall Fire Company scanned several lakes in the area with sonar, Carbon County Emergency Management Agency coordinator Mark Nalesnik said.The search did not turn up any evidence of the missing woman, he said. If any new leads are reported, Carbon County EMA would follow up, Nalesnik said."If we get new information that this person is in a certain area, we would follow up on it," he said.
