Two area cross country teams earned Schuylkill League sweeps on Wednesday. Jim Thorpe took down Pine Grove in a dual meet, as Tamaqua was victorious against Blue Mountain and Columbia Montour VoTech in a tri-meet.

BOYS SOCCERCatasauqua-NorthwesternNorthwestern pummeled Colonial League foe Catasauqua 7-0 in fine fashion, as JD Haaf became the school's all-time single-season leader in goals scored.
