State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said a 57-year-old man from Brodheadsville is the victim of fraud that happened in an online incident.

Police said at 10 a.m. Sept. 29 the victim applied online for a personal loan and was asked to put money down as collateral. Police said the man did so, but never received the loan and is out a total loss of $1,800.
