Crews continued searching this morning in Kidder Township for a missing 84-year-old woman.

Elena Rapopova of Maryland, was vacationing with her family in the Big Boulder area at the lake.The woman is an avid walker but was not dressed for the weather, her family said. She was reported to have dementia and is not familiar with the area.She was last seen wearing dark pants, white turtleneck, blue sweater with green stripes and white sneakers.The family reported her missing Saturday and there were several sightings in the afternoon, but none since then.Fire Chief Ralph Lennon said patrols searched Big Boulder Lake and surrounding areas Sunday and were back on the scene with all-terrain vehicles this morning.Police and many Carbon County fire companies, Carbon County Emergency Management and ambulance corps are involved in the search.Northeast Search and Rescue was on scene with dogs searching by land and by boat.State police infrared helicopters searched the scene.Anyone who sees Rapopova is asked to call 911.Photo gallery:
