Emergency training courses

The Carbon County Emergency Management Agency has announced that all elected/appointed municipal/county/state officials, as well as school and hospital administrative staff, are invited to participate in the FEMA/U.S. Department of Homeland Security's G-402 course: ICS Overview for Executive/Senior Officials. The course will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Carbon County EMA in Nesquehoning.

All officials are required to be NIMS compliant.To register for this two-hour course, designed specifically for officials positions of leadership within their respective communities and agencies, email or call the EMA at 570-325-3097 or
