Mahoning Township police have issued an arrest warrant for a Palmerton woman accused of burglary.
Tara Good, 30, is charged with felony counts of burglary and criminal trespass; theft by unlawful taking, and receiving stolen property.The charges stem from an incident on Sept. 19 at a Packerton Dam Drive home.The homeowner was gone for a short period of time, and returned to find someone had forced their way in and stole money and jewelry.Police seized/recovered some of the stolen items at a coin store on South First Street in Lehighton. Anyone with information on Good's location is asked to call 911.Police are also investigating other burglaries. Two were reported on Sept. 21. They were at a home on Teliha Drive, with electronics, jewelry and money stolen; and on Mahoning Heights Road, where electronics and jewelry were stolen.An attempted burglary on Sept. 22 at a home on Mahoning Drive West was thwarted by a home security system.
