Mahoning Township police have charged a Franklin Township man with hitting a parked vehicle on June 17.

Gary Furhosel, 61, was charged with a summary offense of accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle.

Police said an Aug. 5 published report generated tips that led to Furhosel.

That report said that at 4:51 p.m. June 17, a parked unoccupied vehicle was hit by a Ford F150 in the parking lot of the Giant store on Route 443. The pickup backed into the parked vehicle, causing damage to the rear of the truck. The report included photos of Furhosel and his truck.
