The Lehighton Volleyball Program will be hosting its annual "Match with a Meaning" night as they play against local rival Jim Thorpe on Tuesday, this season benefiting Family Promise of Carbon County.The team hopes to beat its $1,300 mark that was raised for Veterans Affairs last season.Doors open at 5 p.m. which kicks off the basket raffle. The junior varsity match begins at 5:30 p.m., with the majority of the evening's events other entertainment beginning approximately at 6:15 p.m. during the varsity match.Tickets are $5 for adults at the door and $2 for students.Bethany ECBethany Evangelical Congregational Church, 222 North St., will hold Sunday worship service at 10:45 a.m. with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages, including adult Bible study class.Tuesday: Ladies Bible study, 10 a.m.Wednesday: Prayer meeting, 7 p.m.Thursday: Men's Bible study at McDonald's, 5:15 a.m.; choir practice, 7 p.m.Friday: True Women Bible Study and Play Group, 9 a.m.Trinity HappeningsSunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S.
