Kaitlyn Matula, daughter of Joseph and Kathleen Matula of Lansford, received academic honors at Alvernia University by making the university dean's list for the spring semester of 2015.

Matula is a sophomore majoring in business management with a minor in communications and economics.She earned a 3.540 GPA for the spring semester.To qualify for the dean's list, students must have a semester GPA of 3.50 or better and must be enrolled in at least 12 semester hours.
