A total of 65 student-athletes from East Stroudsburg University received Academic Achievement Awards from the Division II Athletics Directors Association for the 2014-15 academic year on Thursday.

Among the list of Warriors honored was Panther Valley graduate Karoline Vavra.Vavra, from Coaldale, was a senior member of the women's swim team and was one of 14 athletes from ESU to receive the award for at least the third time in their career. She also is the school's record-holder in the 100 free (53.18).Student-athletes must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 through at least four semesters of college work while competing in an intercollegiate sport to be eligible for recognition.
