An Orefield woman died Saturday afternoon of injuries sustained in a crash.

According to the Lehigh County coroner's office, Christine Karom, 83, was pronounced dead at1 p.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.

The crash occurred at 1:49 p.m. July 30 on Route 100, just south of Beechwood Street in Orefield, Lowhill Township.

Karom was the driver in a vehicle that collided with another vehicle.

The Lehigh County Coroner's Office and the Pennsylvania State Police in Fogelsville are conducting the investigation.
