Special to the Times News Trinity Lutheran Church, Lehighton, recently presented scholarships to students pursuing higher education. The Rev. Nancy Moore is pictured with recipient and congregational son Dwight Weaver, who is leaving this month for 12 months to study at Zoltan Kodaly Institute of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Kesckemet, Hungary. His postgraduate study will earn him a diploma in Kodaly Music Education. Weaver spent the last school year teaching choir and piano classes at Mendham High School in Mendham, New Jersey, and serves as organist at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in that community. Before that, he served as organist and choir director at Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Schuylkill Haven.
