The engagement of Danielle L. Steele and Brandon Anthony has been announced by their parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Denise Ackles of Barnesville and Paul Steele of Tamaqua.She is a 2003 graduate of Lehighton Area High School and is employed at the Slatington Post Office.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Richard and Sue Anthony of Lehighton.He is a 2008 graduate of Lehighton Area High School and is employed by RFM Services.They plan to marry on Oct. 3 of this year.
