Clothing giveaway

St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Old Stage Road, Albrightsville, will begin their clothing give away this week. The days and times are as follows: Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you have questions, please call Shirley, 570-325-3523.Class of 1964Members of the Jim Thorpe High School class of 1964 will meet on Wednesday at noon at the Mahoning Valley Country Club. This will be Hawaiian shirt and popsicle day. Members planning to attend are reminded to bring along an item or two for the prize box; an item or two for the canned good basket; and a calculator.Free lunchesThe free summer lunch program will be effect until Aug. 14 for schoolchildren of the Jim Thorpe District. The meals are served at the Masonic Hall, Fifth and Center streets from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cooperative ministries of the community churches, community organizations and the Masons Temple help provide the program.
