Palmerton Police issued several traffic citations, two for failure to obey traffic control devices, two for speeding and one for lighting equipment.

A citation was issued to Kristy Stocker, 25, Sand Quarry Road, Palmerton, for not having a license. The violation occurred at 8:15 a.m. on Monday on Route 248 East.Citations were filed against Jhonny Monsalve, 39, 104 Watson Drive, Dover, New Jersey, for careless driving and accidents involving overturned vehicles.The violations occurred at 3:29 p.m. June 12 at Fireline Road and Mauch Chunk Road.
