A runaway dump truck has destroyed a car and a garage in Lower Towamensing Township.

The incident occurred just after 11 a.m. as the truck was getting front brakes installed.

Apparently during the process the truck rolled down a grade striking a car then into a garage attached to a home.

The incident is being investigated by state police Lehighton. There were injures.
