A New York state truck driver, operating a tractor trailer hauling hazard materials, was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance.
State police at Frackville said Stephen C. Farwell, 60, of Friendship, was stopped about 4:55 p.m. on May 18 driving southbound on Interstate 81 in Foster Township, Schuylkill County, during a systematic inspection check.At the stop it was determined Farwell was under the influence of and possessed marijuana. Charges will be filed.
