A woman was injured Tuesday morning when involved in a single vehicle crash along Route 873 in Washington Township.

The crash occurred at 7:15 a.m. as she was driving south about a half mile south of the intersection with Mountain Road. For some unknown reason it appeared she struck the rock embankment along the south berm rolling the unit onto its roof.The car slid across the roadway coming to rest in the northbound lane. The victim was treated at the scene by Northwestern paramedics before being transported to a local hospital.The roadway was closed for over an hour. State police are investigating the incident.
